i just got back from spending the day in midland! it was fun but kinda weird...alex, myself, and another violinist left for love field airport at 9:15 and got there 20 minutes later...we met up with a flautist (sp?) and flew southwest to midland arriving at like 11. were picked up and driven to the midland univesity and given lunch (tho the sandwiches had mayo in them...which i am alergic to )...soo i practiced for two hours and at the time the concert was supposed to begin it didnt cuz like noone was there...5 minutes later some ppl walk into the building and we started our concert...which i finally gave a good performance of my liszt e flat!! after playing it for however many years its so satisfying to drop it and actually perform it well...soo the other two instrumentalists played and we came home...so ya kinda random

so i now i have like 4 weeks until my sr recital...im working on the invitations soo hopefully they will get out this week...it will be at park cities presb. on friday the 26th, 7 pm...ill be playing beethoven op 31 no 3, chopin 4th ballade, liszt rigoletto and jeax d'eau, annd prokofiev 7th sonata...it should be awesome...yall keep it real

-my sister in law's twins were delivered last week!! they need a lot of prayer due the girls being born at like 26 weeks or something...and ashley (maybe emily idk) is having heart surgery sometime this week so they def have alot to go thru
-i got my license! ive been driving everywhere too...my mom has been gone to michigan since wed to help my brother and his wife out and ive been taking randy and anna everywhere...
-sr recital in like 6 weeks () ..everyone come haha
-my stupid spanish class...
-midland, tx on the 29th (where i have to go and play for some convention or whatever with my 20 minute concerto which i wont be playing at my sr recital)
-my chopin ballade coda...its soo fast, legato, and awkward...

and i guess thats it...o and here is this amazing hymn that we sang at my churchs maunday thursday (sp?) service and it is really cool...sry its in king james...peace

Ah, holy Jesus, how hast thou offended,
that man to judge thee hath in hate pretended?
By foes derided, by thine own rejected,
o most afflicted.

Who was the guilty who brought this upon thee?
Alas, my treason, Jesus, hath undone thee.
'twas I, Lord Jesus, I it was denied thee:
I crucified thee.

Lo, the Good Sheperd for the sheep is offered;
the slave hath sinned, and the Son hath suffered:
for man's atonement, while he nothing heedeth,
God intercedeth.

For me, kind Jesus, was thine incarnation,
thy mortal sorrow, and thy life's oblation:
thy death of anguish and thy bitter passion,
for my salvation

Therefore, kind Jesus, since I cannot pay thee,
I do adore thee, and will ever pray thee,
think on thy pity and thy love unswerving,
not my deserving.
